JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was found dead in the roadway on the Northside Friday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO was notified around 6:30 a.m. that a man, in his "40s or 50s" was lying in the street near the Sunset Drive and Barberie Street. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said the man died at the scene. There is no suspect information and police are "unsure if foul play is involved."
JSO does not know the circumstances of the man's death and the investigation is ongoing. The incident is classified as "pending."
