The car that failed to stop after allegedly killing a woman on her bike has been located, according to The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office
The occupants of the vehicle, described as a brown 2011-2015 Kia Rio, failed to stop and render aid after the car hit and killed a 34-year-old woman on Sunday on the Southside.
Summer S. Black, 34, was riding a bicycle eastbound in the rightmost lane of the 9800 block of Beach Boulevard when she was struck from behind by a vehicle, JSO said. She died as a result of the crash
Black's death marks the 41st traffic homicide in 2019, according to JSO.
