JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update: As of 10:53 a.m., the scene has been cleared and repairs on the broken gas line have been made.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department says that a hazmat team is currently on scene of a broken gas line that has occurred in Downtown Jacksonville Wednesday morning, according to an X post.
JFRD says the broken gas line is at the intersection of Laura Street and 3rd Street. Please avoid the area if possible.
