JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department is warning residents about a commercial building fire in the 6600 block of Beaver Street.
With several emergency officials on hand, Beaver Street is closed from Lane Avenue to Pickettville Road, the agency said. The structure was engulfed in flames and collapsed in some parts.
The fire was out by approximately 2:30 p.m., taking more than 30 firefighters to contain the blaze.
