JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Firefighters were called to the scene of a fire at an Arlington apartment complex Wednesday evening, authorities said.
Jacksonville Fire Rescue was first alerted to the fire at Caroline Square Apartments, located in the 5000 block of Fort Caroline Road, about 6:20 p.m., a dispatcher told First Coast News.
At least six units were damaged in the fire, which was contained not long after firefighters arrived, apartment representatives told First Coast News.
The American Red Cross, which typically assists residents displaced by fires, has not been asked for help following the fire, a spokesperson said.
