JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JEA is working to resolve an issue with their phone lines Friday morning.
Customers are reporting problems calling JEA to report outages as outages continue from Hurricane Helene.
JEA is able to see customers power outages on their end, even if you cannot get through on the phone to report it.
Power is being restored quickly Friday, with he number of customers affected already dropping from 141,000 to 107,000 by 9 a.m.
JEA believes the issue has to do with their phone service provider.
