JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- If you follow the bright yellow signs, they will lead you to Jacksonville's first ever Food Truck Food Court.
"This piece of property has been in my family for three generations and it was for sale, so it all just clicked," said Anthony Hashem, the owner of the Happy Grilled Cheese food truck.
Hashem came up with this idea after seeing it in larger cities.
"It is something new for the food truck scene, which I am proud to show off," he says.
A selection of food trucks line up and there is even indoor seating with air conditioning and wireless internet.
"I got the Lumpia and an awesome jalapeno pop," said Keshia Brinson.
She and Vanessa Price were the very first customers.
"You have a variety of different (food trucks) and the fact that you have food and some dessert later, that's great," Price said.
Both say they will definitely be back for more.
"We are going to be following the page everyday to see what trucks are there," quipped Price while she and Brinson enjoyed their lunches.
"Everyday there will be a different selection, so you could eat here everyday and not have the same thing twice in one week," tells Hashem.
Because supporting small, local businesses is as American as the cheese on the sandwiches.
The Jax Food Truck Food Court is at 3814 Beach Blvd and is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
