Jacksonville Zoo reopens with half-price admission after Hurricane Dorian

The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens plans to reopen its doors on Thursday after being temporarily closed due to Hurricane Dorian.

The zoo announced that it will reopen to the public starting at 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. It closed down Monday through Wednesday due to the storm.

Thank you for all of your encouraging words for our dedicated staff ... and animals throughout Hurricane Dorian! We have the "all clear" and plan to reopen tomorrow. Come visit us with HALF-PRICE admission No coupon is required and this offer is valid on Sept. 5 General Admission tickets only.

Normally, general admission tickets cost $19.95 for adults, $17.95 for Seniors and $14.95 for children ages 3 to 12. There is also a 10 percent military discount and college discount where students pay $10 for general admission.

Guests will only pay half-price admission all day. No coupon is required.
