JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 34-year-old postal worker from Jacksonville was indicted on charges of credit card fraud and mail theft Tuesday, the Department of Justice announced in a release.
A grand jury of an indictment charging Daniel Diaz Garcia with credit card fraud and theft of mail. He faces up to 10 years in federal prison on the credit card fraud charge and up to five years in prison on the theft of mail charge if convicted. He must also pay restitution to the victims in the case.
Diaz was arrested on Monday by the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General.
This case is set for the September.
