JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE: A missing and endangered man who went missing Saturday from Northwest Jacksonville has been located and is safe, according to JSO. He was located Sunday afternoon.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a 73-year-old adult considered missing and endangered in the city's Northwest area Saturday night.
John Copeland, 73, was reported missing by family members after leaving his residence near the 1600 block of Seminary Street on foot at approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release.
Police said Copeland was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt, dark blue pants, and shoes with green and blue shoelaces.
Copeland has been diagnosed with dementia and all attempts to locate him have been unsuccessful, police said.
JSO is asking the community for help in finding Copeland.
Police are encouraging anyone in the area where Copeland was last seen to check any property, home, or vehicle cameras.
