Jacksonville Landing to hold 'Last Bash' following city council's vote for demolition

The Jacksonville Landing is hosting a final week of free events called "The Landing's Last Bash."

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Landing is saying goodbye with "The Landing's Last Bash," which will be the last weekend of free events.

The event comes after the Jacksonville City Council voted to demolish the building.

The events are as follows:

Friday, March 29

Saturday, March 30 

  • The Jacksonville Mustang Club will host their 17th Regional Mustang & Ford Show. This event is free and taker place from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
  • The Bearded Villains of Jacksonville is raising money for the National Kidney Foundation. The event includes vendor tables and a beard competition and will be held in the Jack Daniels Bar. The event starts at 7 p.m.
  • Live music by The Band Be Easy from 8 to 10 p.m. and music provided by Party Solution Entertainment in the courtyard from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Sunday, March 31

  • Soulful Sundays will include music on the Sleiman Riverfront Stage by The Katz Downstairz and local bands from around the city. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own chairs. The event is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mavericks Live inside the Jacksonville Landing also has concerts planned out until the end of May, according to a spokesperson.
