BRUNSWICK, Ga.—Sidney Lanier Bridge in Brunswick is closing beginning at 10 a.m., the Georgia Department of Transportation reported Friday morning.
The bridge is closing in anticipation of gale-force winds.
With the predicted strength of the wind and the height of the bridge will cause significant danger to vehicles that might try to travel across it.
The bridge will be closed until further notice.
