Governor DeSantis suspends tolls on several roadways across Florida as Hurricane Dorian approaches

Fla. Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended a number of tolls across Florida ahead of Hurricane Dorian in order to ease congestion with evacuees.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Sunday that he has suspended tolls on a number of Florida roadways as Hurricane Dorian approaches.

The tolls were suspended to help ease congestion with evacuees leaving the southeast coast of Florida ahead of Hurricane Dorian.

The following tolls have been suspended:

  • Alligator Alley 
  • The Turnpike Mainline (SR 91), including the Homestead Extension (SR 821)
  • Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869)
  • Beachline Expressway (SR 528)
  • First Coast Expressway (SR 23)
  • SR 417 
  • SR 429 
  • I-95 Express Lanes
  • I-595 Express Lanes
  • I-75 Express Lanes
  • I-295 Express Lanes 

The Central Florida Expressway Authority has also suspended tolls on the following roadways:

  • SR 408
  • SR 414
  • SR 451
  • SR 453
  • SR 538
  • SR 551
