JACKSONVILLE, Fla — One person was taken to a hospital after a house caught fire in Jacksonville's Pecan Park neighborhood Saturday night, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.
JFRD said the fire happened in the 14400 block of Christen Drive. JFRD reported the fire just before 10:45 p.m. By 11:07, the home was searched and deemed clear. Shortly after, the Red Cross was requested for three adults.
The fire was under control just before 11:45 p.m. and one person was taken to a hospital, according to firefighters.
