ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — St. Johns County Fire Rescue assisted a horse that was stuck in a trailer door near the Interstate 95 rest area on Sunday afternoon.
Rescue crews were dispatched to the southbound entrance of the I-95 rest area where a horse was stuck in the side door of a trailer that was transporting it.
The owner called for help after realizing they couldn't move the horse alone.
SJCFR said it assisted in removing the horse from the trailer and safely reloaded the horse back into the vehicle at approximately 5:17 p.m. Sunday.
The horse will be evaluated for any injuries, according to SJCFR.
