HOLIDAY, Fla. — Two people died and a third person was taken to the hospital after a crash Wednesday evening in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It happened at 5:40 p.m. on Mile Stretch Drive at the intersection with Arcadia Road.

FHP says that the driver of a motorcycle, a 20-year-old man from Holiday, was speeding westbound on Mile Stretch Drive with a 20-year-old woman from Lutz as his passenger.

A 70-year-old man from New Port Richey was going eastbound on Mile Stretch Drive when he made a left onto Arcadia Road, hitting the motorcycle, a press release explains.
