A suspect was arrested after a student prank-called 911 causing Jane Macon Middle School in Glynn County to be placed under a brief lockdown Monday morning, according to school officials.
A Code Yellow lockdown went into effect before 10:30 a.m. after a student told police another student threatened violence against the school, according to a statement posted to Facebook from Glynn County Public Schools.
After an investigation was launched, a phone was confiscated and one primary suspect has been taken into custody, officials say.
Students were not in any danger, according to Glynn County Public Schools.
