CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. -- The Georgia State Patrol is on the scene of a serious crash that shut down Interstate 95 Thursday morning.
All northbound lanes of I-95 near mile marker 28 were closed, with a partial southbound lane blockage as well.
Traffic was being diverted to US-17, but the major delays have caused vehicles to sit at a standstill for miles.
The crash happened sometime around 7 a.m. but no further details have been released.
Witnesses at the scene said it appeared to involve multiple vehicles. GSP told us there are injuries involved but it's not yet clear the extent of those injuries.
