MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) -- A Georgia high school student collapsed and died after completing a school presentation.
A spokesman for the Cobb County school system said Lassiter High School senior Arjun Chopra returned to his desk after completing a presentation for one of his finals and then collapsed. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Lassiter Principal Chris Richie posted a message on the school's website that remembered Chopra as "a generous young man always willing to share his knowledge with others."
Friday was the last day of classes before the holiday break, but the principal said counselors will be available to students during the break.
