JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida State College at Jacksonville is calling on the community to help pick its new mascot.
Four weeks and nearly 9,000 votes later - FSCJ has narrowed down the choices for its future mascot to Kraken, Manta Ray and Sea Dragon.
Students, faculty and the community can vote for their favorite mascot from now until Feb. 23.
Participants are asked to vote only once.
FSCJ says the mascot should represent the importance of students achieving their academic and professional goals, while also reflecting its fun, energetic and competitive brand.
The mascot will also serve as the face of FSCJ's sports teams.
