JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Have you been diagnosed with Breast Cancer?
Join First Coast News Anchor Anthony Austin and the Florida Plastic Surgery Group for BRA Day on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville. You will have the opportunity to meet with breast cancer survivors and hear about their reconstruction process and recovery in a private setting.
Medical professionals will give lectures at the beginning of the event. Free food and drinks will be served from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
BRA Day is an international event that was started in Canada by a plastic surgeon and spread to the USA in 2012. The goal is to raise the level of knowledge about breast reconstruction for patients in a safe and timely manner.
