To help celebrate its reopening following Hurricane Dorian, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is offering free admission Friday and Saturday.
Free admission will include access to its permanent collection, gardens, lawn games, art activities and live music. These free admission opportunities coincide with the final weekend of French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950, which was extended to Sunday, Sept. 8 due to popular demand. The exhibition showcases 60 works by artists such as Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
This deal will from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday.
The Cummer Cafe will also be open extended hours for dinner and beverage service, as well as feature a taco stand on the front lawn. Le Petit Cheri Cupcakery and Tin Can Photobooth will be on site.
