The Navarre area is starting to see rough seas as the outer bands of Hurricane Michael make landfall.

Waycross is one of the areas with the greatest concern. Residents could see wind gust near 75 mph, 3 to 6 inches of rain, and are at high risk for tornadoes.

Local food banks are gathering food and supplies to bring to those areas that will be affected by Hurricane Michael:
The gas station pump at Walmart in Waycross has tied down its nozzles with saran wrap, shutting down ahead of Hurricane Michael.
A local Waycross business is doing some last minute storm preparations with Hurricane Michael on the horizon.
LAKE CITY:
Lake City is one of the areas with the greatest concern. Residents could see wind gust near 75 mph, 3 to 6 inches of rain, and are at high risk for tornadoes.
First responders are getting prepared for Hurricane Michael. Electric crews to members of the National Guard are standing by to assist those in need.
