The incident happened at an amusement park at the Daytona Beach Boardwalk.

Ten people were extricated from the roller coaster. Six of them were sent to the hospital. None of the injuries were life-threatening, according to officials.

The Daytona Beach Fire Department released video of the scene on Twitter, showing the roller coaster car dangling from its tracks.

The Orlando NBC affiliate reported that the ride malfunctioned, which caused it to derail.
