NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — A false threat was made towards Fletcher High School on social media Thursday, authorities said.
"Students are safely in classrooms," Mark Sherwood with Duval County Public Schools told First Coast News.
There were no reports of violence due to the threat, Sherwood said.
Duval County School Police, Sherwood said, will continue to investigate to determine who made the false threat as any suspects may face criminal charges, arrests or possible expulsion.
The day before, Fletcher High School was evacuated during a "Code Red" due to a bomb threat.
