Jags' Senior Correspondent Brian Sexton reflects on 25 years with the franchise (FCL September 19th)

Brian Sexton says his time with Jaguars has been a dream come true.

Brian Sexton is known as the original voice of the Jacksonville Jaguars and he's been there since the very beginning.

He remembers his first day very clearly. It was October 1, 1994. He was a 25-year-old from Kansas who really didn't know how he fit in down here in Jacksonville, but he quickly found his footing and the rest is history!

What's really cool about his story is that he is one of three people to have gone to all 501 pre-seaons, regular season, and post season games. Ironically, his 500th game fell on the first game of the 25th season, which was against his hometown Kansas City.

Since Brian has been there from the start, he's grown up with the team. He's seen and felt their growing pains as well as their success. Alex asked him about his outlook on this season and if this is going to be the Jags' year.

"There's 14 games to play, there's young players who are coming on, there are question marks that have to be answered but that's what a season is all about," said Brian. "It's a book at the end of the year you put on your shelf. We don't know until you get to the end, what the final paragraph is all about."

Now he's taking on another role with the Jags. He started a podcast called "Perspective" that will air weekly. In the podcast he talks to some really influential people, whether it be on the field or in the front office.
