This week marks the inaugural celebration of Lottery Week across North America and Wednesday, July 17th is "National Lottery Day".
One of the ways the Florida Lottery gives back is through education. Did you know that since 1988, the Lottery has generated more than $35 billion to Florida's students and schools?
These Lottery dollars are used to benefit nearly every facet of education which includes $5.6 billion to the Bright Futures Scholarship Program, more than a $15.6 billion dollars to Florida's public schools, $8.4 billion dollars to state colleges and universities. This has allowed over $808,000 students to attend college!
