JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 78-year-old Orange Park man was killed when he was hit by a pickup truck Tuesday night in Clay County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was walking north across Wells Road near DeBarry Avenue into the path of an oncoming pickup truck.
The FHP said the man was supposed to yield to the truck.
The driver of the pickup was not injured.
