JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is dead following a pedestrian crash on the Westside Thursday morning, Florida Highway Patrol.
A sedan was traveling westbound on Normandy Boulevard around Hammond Boulevard in the outside lane. The victim was walking southbound on the outside shoulder, north of the outside lane, the crash report said.
The victim crossed the roadway and collided with the vehicle, troopers said. He was taken to UF Health Downtown Trauma Unit.
A hometown and age for the victim was not released.
