PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — A man has died from a crash Thanksgiving evening, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP's crash report said a 63-year-old Palatka man driving a sedan was stopped at the stop sign on Cracker Swap Road around 7:40 p.m. Thursday. It travelled across the northbound lanes and entered the southbound lanes of State Road 207, striking an SUV travelling south.
Emergency personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to FHP. The report said the victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were treated for minor injuries, the report said.
