JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Breeze Airways flight from Orlando to Providence, Rhode Island was diverted to Jacksonville Tuesday.
Breeze Flight 717 left Orlando at 4:28 p.m.
It landed in Jacksonville at 5:50 p.m.
The FBI responded to a "security issue" and searched the plane with a K9.
There is no indication of an immediate threat, according to Amanda Videll from the Jacksonville FBI.
Breeze Airlines said in a statement: "Breeze is working with the authorities in Jacksonville to investigate the situation. Safety is our paramount concern and we will share more information as it becomes available."
The flight is not scheduled to continue on to Providence Tuesday.
