First Coast News reached out to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office asking if the remains of a body found in April are Jackson's. Though the family says the remains are his, JSO told First Coast News that both cases are active investigations and have not been linked.
Police asked anyone having any information pertaining to either of these cases to contact JSO
Jackson was last seen April 7 on Faye Road, leaving his work truck for the evening but no one heard from him since. The 33-year-old man was reported missing April 10. A close to the victim's family told First Coast News Jackson's remains near I-95 and Broward Road were found.
His car was found damaged and burned on April 30.
Jackson's family said they want to know who would harm him.
Jamie said they were on good terms when he left. She described her husband to police officers as a private person. To her knowledge, he does not use any drugs and is not diagnosed with any mental illnesses.
However, she mentioned how Kevin was spending time with new people at a BP Gas Station.
Jackson's boss told the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office he showed up for work on Friday, April 7, but didn't show up the following day.
Investigators were told it was out of character.
