JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two of the stars from one of the highest grossing and critically praised trilogies ever will meet fans and attend panels as Collective Con returns to Jacksonville for the 10th time.
At Collective Con, which runs from Friday-Sunday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center, Wood and Astin will sign autographs from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and have photo opportunities in the mid-afternoon both days. The pair will have a panel from 5:20 p.m.-6:05 p.m. Saturday.
Elijah Wood and Sean Astin played hobbits Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee in Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings." Astin was the titular character of "Rudy" and had a major role in the hit Netflix show "Stranger Things" and Elijah Wood has appeared in TV series "Wilfried"; garnered roles in "Sin City" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"; and voice roles in "9" and "Happy Feet."

Other attendees include "Battlestar Galactica" star Tricia Helfer; "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace" Darth Maul actor Ray Park; "The Mandalorian" actors Emily Swallow, Katee Sackoff and Tait Fletcher; and "The Walk Dead" actors Jason Douglas and Ross Marquand. Douglas also voices Beerus in "Dragon Ball Super."
Various voice actors of the 1990s classic "X-Men: The Animated Series" and the hit anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" will appear in panels.
