Downtown Vision announces 'summer break' for Sip & Stroll event in Jacksonville

Sip & Stroll, which typically takes place every third Thursday of the month, is taking a hiatus during the summer.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A monthly event in Jacksonville is taking a hiatus.

Downtown Vision, which organizes the "Sip & Stroll" event every third Thursday of the month on the Southbank Riverwalk, said it's "taking a summer break" until September.

There will be no Sip & Stroll events scheduled for June 20, July 18 or August 15.

The organization says during the break, it plans to reimagine and enhance the event to better the experience for the community.

"We're committed to bringing you the best possible events, and we can't wait to come back bigger and better this fall," Downtown Vision said in an announcement on Facebook.

Downtown Vision is asking for feedback on the Sip & Stroll event, letting the community pitch ideas to help make future events better. Click here to give feedback.
