Meet Hope, rescued from a South Korean meat farm and brought to the Nassau Humane Society.

Dogs rescued from a South Korean meat farm arrived at the Nassau Humane Society Monday morning.

The dogs arrived at 8 a.m. and were given new names to match their new lease on life -- Liberty, Justice, Hope, Freedom, Honor, Eagle, Ellis and Francis, according to the humane society.

If you would like to help the humane society care for the new dogs, NHS said the following could make a difference:

  • Kong long-lasting chews
  • Hot dogs
  • Spray Cheese
  • Toys
  • Blankets
  • Gift cards to Amazon, Chewy or Walmart

The Nassau Humane Society announced on Friday that 15 dogs were rescued thanks to a partnership with Humane Society International.

Some of the dogs were sent to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League located in West Palm Beach.
