BAKER COUNTY, Fla. — A Baker County Sheriff's corrections officer, who was injured in a house fire that left four people dead, is out of the hospital.
Daniel Kerr, 22, was one of two people found critically injured when a double wide trailer was found in flames on October 4.
The Baker County Sheriff's Office and Fire Rescue confirmed a woman, three children and two dogs died in the fire.
Kerr, along with the other adult victim, were flown by helicopter to UF Health Shands Burn Unit in Gainesville.
Now, almost two weeks after the accident, Kerr is back home.
Kerr's family member told First Coast News that he will continue to go to rehab for the burns left on his hands.
There is still no official cause of the fire.
