JACKSONVILLE, Fla — Three construction workers died after a crash involving a semi-truck on County Road 210 on Thursday morning, according to a statement from Vallencourt Construction.
A fourth person is in stable condition in the hospital, as of Friday afternoon.
St. Johns County deputies said the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. near South Hampton Road. Lanes in the area were closed for several hours while officials responded.
It appears a large truck rolled in its side and may have come in contact with an SUV.
Vallencourt Construction shared a statement mourning the loss of David Barnes II, Darren Mosley and James Wilkinson. Joseph Bryant is recovering in the hospital.
The company said they are awaiting more information on what exactly happened during the wreck.

The project to widen CR-210 began three months ago and should take 18-24 months, according to a St. John's County spokesperson.
