Clay Electric was able to quickly resolve a power outage that impacted 16,000 customers on Wednesday.
With temperatures reaching up to 95 degrees, thousands were without air conditioning and power for roughly an hour.
Crews said a transmission line issue caused the outage around 3 p.m.
Power was restored for all but a handful of customers around 4 p.m.
