JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Cigars International store is on the way near the Town Center.
This is the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania-based business' third Florida location, which includes Tampa and Lutz. The stores carry more than 500 brands of cigars and maintain conditions that feel like "stepping into one giant humidor, which smells downright glorious," Cigars International's website said.
The permit for the work at the 6,586-square-foot store costs $3.38 million, according to the city. It also includes a 2,140-square-foot outdoor area. The building will occupy .48 of an acre.
The store will be located at 4808 Town Center Pkwy., behind Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.
The site plans were approved in May, according to jaxcivilplan.coj.net.
