Beaver Street open after shutdown due to chlorine spill

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update 3:14 p.m.: Beaver Street has been reopened. 

Beaver Street was completely shut down on Wednesday afternoon while officials responded to a hazardous material leak.

Crews responded to a chlorine leak in the 2900 block of Beaver Street. The buildings were evacuated and the hazmat team was at the scene.
