JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The search continues for the person or persons who shot and killed Amber Bass. Police are hopingyou can identify a vehicle which could be connected to the crime.
Police saya photo captured by aneighbor's surveillance camera showsa light colored vehicle following close behind 22-year-old Amber Bass' car and then leaving several minutes after. The vehicle was never seen enter her driveway, but police say it could be connected.
On July 19th Bass was shot and killed on her driveway on Springtree Road around 2:30 a.m.
"She was covered in her own blood, she wasn't breathing, her eyes were wide open, I mean that image is just burned into me. I need to see her in a different light and if I can get that peace and get that justice to come through it will give me closure," said Robin Lezcano, Bass' sister.
Bass' purse is also still missing. The family provided a sketch of the purse which is gray with silver studs. Bass' sister says it was the only thing that was taken.
"To think that she may have only had like 10 dollars in her purse to shoot her, it's such a violent crime," said Lezcano.
The Bass family, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, and Crimestoppers are asking that the public step up if anyone hasany information.
"I terribly miss her. She was my baby of the family and it just, it hurtsso bad to have to go on, but life does have to go on. Somehow we're going to get through this," said Keith Bass, Amber's father.
