BAKER COUNTY, Fla. -- A trial date has been scheduled for the parents of Lonzie Barton, who face numerous drug charges in Baker County.
Tuesday, a Baker County judge set the trial to begin April 11.
Chris and Lonna Barton were arrested on a list of drug charges following a sting in Macclenny Sept. 17. An undercover informant was wired for sound and video when he brought drugs from Lonna, Chris and a third individual at a Motel 6 on Sept. 16, according to a Baker County Sheriff's Office arrest report.
Lonna previously entered a guilty plea in a Duval County courtroom to charges of child neglect and lying to police last month.
The Bartons are scheduled to appear in court March 22 and the final pretrial hearing is set for April 5.
