JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Janay Wiley's family is pleading for her return home after she went missing nearly fours years ago.
Wiley was 31 years old when she was reported missing on Wright Avenue in Jacksonville.
Tuesday was Janay's birthday and she would be 35 years old. Her family said it's hard to celebrate her in her absence, but they will not stop searching for her.
George Wiley, Janay's father, says the last time he saw her was around June 29, 2020. He was one of the last people to see her, and says he was very close with his daughter.
Four years have gone by and still their family has no answers.
Chyna Brooks is Janay's niece. She is asking for the public's help finding her Aunt.
"She always told everyone I was her daughter," said Brooks, "If you have any answers to give my grandfather some closure, to give the rest of her sisters and brothers some closure, we’d really appreciate it."
Sharonda Wiley is one of Janay's sisters and another family member wanting closure and justice for Janay.
"I really miss her a lot and I just hope that justice is served and if anybody has anything to say, come forward and say something," said Sharonda Wiley.
"If the person who last was with her," said George Wiley, "If they were in my shoes I’m sure they would want somebody to contact them about they love one because that’s something you never get over, something you have to live with until you die and of course that’s my daughter."
