The Clay County Sheriff’s Office arrested a second student in their area for making threats online toward the school, this time involving a junior high school student.
Earlier Friday, The Clay County Sheriff’s Office learned of threatening messages sent through social media involving Oakleaf Junior High School.
This was immediately addressed by the Juvenile Crimes Unit, along with the members of our Cyber Crimes Unit.
The information obtained led investigators to an Oakleaf Junior High School student who was subsequently arrested, being charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor.
This comes after a student at Oakleaf High School made similar threats and was subsequently arrested.
