The film "3 and a half minutes - 10 bullets" is up for an Emmy.
The documentary about the shooting of Jacksonville teen Jordan Davis was one of 19 HBO documentaries nominated.
Davis was shot at a Southside Gate Gas station in 2012, and the shooter, Michael Dunn is appealing the conviction.
