More than a dozen Jacksonville locations participate in Kids Free November

Businesses from bowling alleys to museums are participating in Kids Free November. Here's what it is and what it means for kids.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Now that the calendar has flipped on to November, you can save a few dollars on activities around Jacksonville with your kids.

A number of businesses from bowling alleys to museums are participating in 'Kids Free November.' For many of them, a child gets in free with a paying adult, but you'll want to read the fine print about what's free or discounted for which age groups.

Visit Jacksonville and Jacksonville Mom compiled a list of participating locations. The list includes the Cummer Museum, Jacksonville’s Museum of Science and History (MOSH), Jacksonville’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), the Ritz Theatre, Durkeeville Historical Society and FSCJ Artist Series.

Get outside for Kids Free November at the Jacksonville Zoo, Catty Shack Ranch, Jacksonville Arboretum and Explore Jax Core.

Ask about Kids Free November at the Jacksonville Icemen, Community First Igloo, iFLy Jacksonville’s indoor skydiving, Autobahn Indoor Speedway, King Pinz Bowling Center at Normandy Mall, Main Event and Sweet Pete’s.
