The Glynn County Police Department has arrested two men in connection with the murder of 30-year-old Daniel Gilliam. They are still searching for a third.

On April 12, 2017, police responded to someone shot at 137 Simon Drive where they found Gilliam suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He later died.

Arrest warrants were issued for Don Earl Johnson Jr, 39, Rashad Demar Wright, 28, and Rahad Quayshawn Muhammad, 26. All of these individuals are from Glynn County.

Johnson was in the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections and Muhammad was arrested on Friday.

Police are still looking for Wright, however. They are asking for the public's assistance in finding him. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Please call the Glynn County Police Department at 912-554-3645, the Silent Witness line at 912-264-1333 or the nearest local law enforcement agency if you have any information.

“I know that regardless of what we do, Mr. Gilliam’s life cannot be replaced, however, I am extremely pleased that the people responsible for his death are being brought to justice and Mr. Gilliam’s family and friends may have some closure”, said Chief John Powell.
