MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- A deadly car accident on Tuesday morning in Clay County left one dead and another injured after a head-on collision.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the accident at the intersection of County Road 218 and Mimosa Ave. at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning in Middleburg,
The accident involved two vehicles traveling in different directions on CR 218. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
Both the east and westbound lanes of CR 218 at Mimosa Ave. are closed until further notice.
