JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Public Education Fund and partner organizations will host forums with Duval County School Board candidates in July and August.
This will allow voters to talk to their potential representatives before they vote.
Attendance is free, but they are asking attendees to register to attend. You can click here for links to register.
Election day for the school board is August 20.
Early voting begins August 5 and ends August 18. If you want a mail-in ballot, you need to request it by August 8 at p.m. If you are voting by mail, you need to mail your ballot by August 20 at 7 p.m.
The dates are as follows:
District 1
Thursday, July 25 | The Citadel Church at 1057 Arlington Road North | 6 p.m.
District 3
Tuesday, July 23 | Jessie Ball DuPont Center at 40 E. Adams Street | 6:30 p.m.
District 5
Tuesday, July 30 | Edward Waters University Milne Auditorium at 1658 Kings Road | 6 p.m.
District 7
Thursday, August 1 | The Hopewell Church at 3990 Loretto Road | 6 p.m.
