JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The school of the day is Kernan Trail Elementary School in Duval County.
Kernan Trail Elementary is a S.T.E.A.M. centered school focusing on science, technology, engineering, arts and math for students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Kernan Trail has been an "A" school since its opening in 2002, according to the school's website.
Kernan Trail's mission statement is "to provide educational excellence in every school, in every classroom, for every student, every day." The school's vision statement is "KTE inspires students, teachers, and parents to take the journey of lifelong learning through our commitment to teaching, our quest for learning, and community involvement."
